Your protection and piece of mind

Jacob Eco Energy Ltd is the first solar panel Installation company in Manchester to be MCS approved(Microgeneration Certification Scheme). Only solar panels fitted by a MCS approved installer can access the payments for the Feed-In-Tariffs.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS)
This code sets out a set standard and quality of service before during and after installation. The chair of the supervisory panel overseeing the scheme is an independent consumer representative, Dr. Gill Owen. The scheme is an essential quality assurance mechanism that sets out both:

standards for installers of small-scale heat and power generators; and
standards for small-scale heat and power generating products.

Business members need to adhere to a code which includes:

clear information on the systems planned and their performance
acceptable sales and marketing techniques
arrangements for installing and connecting the system
the selection and quality of goods supplied
details of the conditions of business that apply
the standard of any installation and other on-site work
guarantees, and any maintenance and after-sales services needed
what action will be taken to deal with any problems.

MCS Approved

We are here to service the local community, public and private sectors around the North West. As the first company in Manchester to become MCS approved to fit solar photovoltaic systems, we are keen to bring the benefits of solar panel electricity to Manchester and the surrounding areas.

REAL Assurance Scheme

We abide by the customer code of conduct under the REAL assurance scheme and all our work is fully guaranteed for parts and labour. Becoming an MCS approved installer means we abide by the REAL (Renewable Energy Assurance) Customer Code of Practice whereby consumers are fully protected.

There is also an Ombudsman service as part of the REAL scheme in case of any disputes, so customers can have full peace of mind when using a MCS certified installer.
